Mental Health
It is very important to take care of your mind and emotional well-being. It is also important to reach out to your Primary Care doctor or a Wellness Coach and ask for help if you don’t feel quite like yourself. Stress, anxiety, and depression are just a few of the most common mental health disorders.
According to John Hopkins Medicine,
”Approximately 9.5% of American adults ages 18 and over, will suffer from a depressive illness (major depression, bipolar disorder, or dysthymia) each year. Women are nearly twice as likely to suffer from major depression than men.”
Some common symptoms of anxiety and depression are:
Feeling irritable‚ easily frustrated‚ or restless
Feeling sad or anxious often or all the time
Eating more or less than usual or having no appetite
Waking up too early or sleeping too much
Having trouble concentrating, remembering details, or making decisions
