Nutrition
Along with mental health, wellness, and hydration, the food and supplements we consume on a daily basis are very important to our overall health and wellness. It is recommended that women eat 3 large meals or 6 small meals a day, making sure that the meal is well balanced with a protein, carbohydrate, vegetable, and whole grain. It is also recommended that we pay attention to our sugar intake, keeping it around 27mg a day.
Eat Healthy
Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, protein foods, and fat-free or low-fat dairy products are healthy choices.
Eat different types of protein foods in your diet. This can include seafood, lean meats, poultry, beans, peas, lentils, nuts, seeds, soy products, and eggs.
Limit foods and beverages higher in added sugars, saturated fat, and sodium.
