Along with mental health, wellness, and hydration, the food and supplements we consume on a daily basis are very important to our overall health and wellness. It is recommended that women eat 3 large meals or 6 small meals a day, making sure that the meal is well balanced with a protein, carbohydrate, vegetable, and whole grain. It is also recommended that we pay attention to our sugar intake, keeping it around 27mg a day.

Eat Healthy

  • Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, protein foods, and fat-free or low-fat dairy products are healthy choices. 

  • Eat different types of protein foods in your diet. This can include seafood, lean meats, poultry, beans, peas, lentils, nuts, seeds, soy products, and eggs. 

  • Limit foods and beverages higher in added sugars, saturated fat, and sodium.
